Snakes & Wolves: The Importance of Ravenshill

SOMETHING HISTORICAL

As I was working on the idea of Snakes & Wolves, thinking of my characters and who they were and where they were from, I had to follow certain guidelines of history. So, my main character’s home had to be in northern England. I researched and found Ravenshill Pele. It had sat above the river North Tyne. Nothing is left of it now. But it was the perfect place to create a home that would itself become a major player in my main character’s life.

As the story began to develop and my characters with it, Ravenhill would be the guiding force behind every decision my main character would make. Ravenshill became the story. The small tower would become the inspiration for the prequels, all the way back to when it was commissioned by William the Conqueror and built as a wooden structure.

I hope you will check out the Snakes & Wolves trilogy on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. But also check back here to get its numerous prequels that will come available for free.
